Meet the three-year-old who loves riding the waves with her mum.

River Jones, has been brought up by the water and can often be seen surfing with the help of parents Cheyenne, 30, and Kaleb, 33, a country music singer.

Cheyenne said both River and her brother, Jameson, five, love the waves, and both started surfing this year.

And while River gets to grips with her board, she loves hopping on her mum's shoulders while she surfs.

Cheyenne, a social media marketer, from Salt Lake, Utah, said: "I started surfing a little bit with my friends and I took to it really well."

"Then my kids asked if they could go and I said yes."

"They love it - I was surprised. I have seen other people surf with their kids before and I thought it would be cool if we could do it."

"I first went out with Jameson and he loved it and the second time doing it he got up on my shoulders."

"His sister saw him to that and wanted to have a go herself."

Cheyenne picked up surfing after going out with her friends on their boat, and the family ride the waves twice a week.

She said: "I will surf for hours. I have surfed for 14 hours at once."

"I love the fact my kids want to do it with me. I try to keep it simple, if they fall over, I try to keep them above water."

"They and I both love being out on the water."
