"Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Friday ordered residents of Gaza City to evacuate to the southern part of the coastal enclave, citing safety and protection.
IDF said it will 'continue to operate significantly in Gaza City' in following days, echoing media reports that it is preparing for a ground incursion on the Gaza Strip.
Over 1,300 were killed since the surprising Hamas attack on Saturday, Israel's state-owned media reported, while about 150 hostages were taken to Gaza by Hamas."

The White House said on Thursday that it will not send ground troops to participate in the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
On the same day, British Prime Minister Sunak decided to deploy two British Royal Navy ships to the Mediterranean Sea to show its support for Israel."
