CCTV footage from China of a man trying to rob a woman in an ATM house while he was defeated and locked up by her husband, and then strangely injuring himself by hitting the wall with his head.

In the video, captured in Yantai, Shandong Province last week, the robber can be seen attacking the woman who is operating on an ATM machine when the husband comes in and beats him down. After he failed to run away and gets locked in the room by the couple, he starts to strike the wall violently with his head, until later arrived police take him away.

According to news reports, the 22-year-old suspect named Wang had had a few criminal records including intentional assault, robbery and burglary, and is now in custody pending further investigation. It remains unclear why he wanted to harm himself.
