A child, thought to be around ten-years-old, has been caught on camera driving a car in China while an adult man sits in the passenger seat and plays on his mobile phone.

In the video, filmed by a passenger in a passing car in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on Thursday, the boy can be seen sitting in the driver's seat, driving at around 30km/h. The man beside focuses on his phone seemingly paying no attention to what the boy's doing.

Local police have reportedly carried out an investigation and promised to deal with the incident properly.
