STORYLINE:
Turkish military aircraft landed in Egypt on Friday, carrying medical and relief aid to be delivered to Gaza through the Rafah border crossing, local media reported.
The humanitarian aid is being handed over to Egyptian authorities for delivery, the state-run TRT broadcaster reported.
Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued on Thursday a press release announcing the official visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to Egypt from Oct. 13-14.
According to the ministry statement, the visit aims to facilitate discussions on all facets of the bilateral relationship between Türkiye and Egypt, and views on current regional and international developments will be exchanged.
