Hundreds of people in Padang, West Sumatra held a solidarity action for Palestine on Sunday, September 15 2023. The mass action calling itself the Minangkabau Community Forum (FMM) took place starting from the West Sumatra Grand Mosque, which is an icon of the area.

The masses marched around the city, using motorbikes and cars. While carrying a number of banners and Palestinian flags as well as Indonesian flags, they condemned the attacks launched by Israel against Palestine.

Chairman of the Minangkabau Community Forum, Ibnu Aqil D. Ghani, said that the actions of the Israeli people were an act of violating Human Rights (HAM) and needed to be opposed, because what Israel is currently doing not only wants to control, but also wants to kill and get rid of Palestine, as well as the Palestinian people. in this world.

The masses also encouraged the central government to initiate international support in order to defend the interests of the Palestinian people in obtaining their rights.
