CCTV captured the moment a speeding bus collided with a car in Kolkata’s Salt Lake area early on 2 October.

The bus overturned in the smash, which also forced the car into two motorbikes and their riders waiting on the opposite side of the road.

At least five people were injured in the crash, which was captured on local traffic police surveillance cameras.

The footage shows the moment of impact, which reportedly happened when the bus jumped a red light.

Police and emergency service workers rescued trapped passengers.

No-one was seriously injured, but five people were taken to Bidhan Nagar Sub Divisional Hospital with minor injuries.

The incident occurred on the morning of October 2. CCTV footage shows the moment of impact, when the bus reportedly violated a red light and smashed into the car, which was going in a different direction. The bus then flipped onto the divider.
Police and rescue workers reached the scene and rescued the passengers. No one was seriously injured, but five people were taken to Bidhan Nagar Sub Divisional Hospital with minor injuries.
