A 1-year-old girl miraculously survived after being hit by a sanitation truck in southern China.

Terrifying CCTV footage filmed in the city of Chenzhou in Hunan Province on September 22 shows a girl suddenly walking to the front of a sanitation truck when it was moving off.

The truck then knocked over the child and drove away above her.

Miraculously, as the truck was moving at a slow pace while starting, the little girl only sustained minor superficial injuries. In a turn of events, the driver remained completely oblivious to the accident until contacted by the traffic police.

The traffic police, after investigating the incident, determined that the driver of the sanitation vehicle was majorly at fault for not checking the visual blind spots before moving.
