This is the heartwarming moment a disabled pensioner took his disabled dog out for a walk in a wheelchair.

The elderly local rolled along the pavement as his pet pooch Teddy, unable to use its hind legs, shuffled next to him in Hainan, China, on October 7. The pair had taken an afternoon stroll to enjoy the sunset at the idyllic beachfront.

Locals said the old man was a scavenger who had picked up Teddy when he was abandoned by a previous owner around four months ago. He also had another dog, which he had been raising for six years.

The filmer said: 'I shared this video hoping people could come to help this kind-hearted person. He has very little but he still chooses to take care of the dogs.'
