The annual Wings Over Houston Airshow was held from Oct. 14 to 15 at Ellington Airport in Houston, Texas, the United States.
The traditional air show "Tora! Tora! Tora!" simulated the scene of Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor in World War II and was designed to commemorate all soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country.
This air show has a history of 51 years and is one of the oldest civilian air show performances in the United States, according to the organizers.
In addition to live air shows, the airshow also displayed many military and civilian aircraft on the tarmac.
One of the most exciting performances this year was the "Thunderbirds" flight demonstration team from the U.S. Air Force.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds aerobatic team, which tours globally, returned to Houston this year to be the grand finale of the show.
They performed formation flying and solo routines with six aircraft. The diamond formation of four aircraft showcased the elegance of the F-16, while the other two solo aircraft displayed the formidable performance of the F-16.
