A heavy police presence was seen at Place Pavillon, Brussels, as officers shot dead a gunman who killed two Swedish nationals on Monday (October 16).

The filmer said: "Thirty-one minutes after setting camp at Place Pavillon in Schaerbeek, 5 minutes distance from the City Hall, a few ambulances came from Rue Van Oost, where the shooter was reportedly shot after being caught by the police in a café with the gun from last night's crime.

"In the video, we see the ambulances heading to Rue Joseph Navrez, reportedly with the shooter inside, who is said to have died upon his arrival at the hospital."

Video filmed from the window pointing at Place Pavillon, a square in Schaerbeek (1 of 19 communes of Brussels). Video was filmed at precisely 8:00AM Brussels time when the police were blocking the perimeter and asking people not to pass. You can also spot the trams that were blocked and people eventually left since they coudln't move for a long while.
