Solo Swiftie! 11-year-old Taylor Swift fan turns theater into front row for Eras movie
On Saturday (October 14) in Johnston, Iowa an 11-year-old named Nora transformed a movie theatre on Northwest 86th Street into an unexpected Taylor Swift concert.
“My 11-year-old was dying for Taylor Swift concert tickets, we were unable to get them. So when the movie came out, we knew we were all in," the filmer shared.
Nora was prepared: she had her outfits planned, wore Swift-themed bracelets, and was determined to create her own concert experience. Although the theatre wasn’t fully packed, Nora's enthusiasm was uncontainable. Taking a brave step, she moved towards the front to dance and sing her heart out.
The filmer continued, "Little by little, more girls joined her, and by the red portion, it was a nonstop party. I wish I could have joined her, but I had my other child with autism with us, and she was insistent on staying safely in her seat.”
The ripple effect of Nora's infectious joy was evident. By the end, other movie-goers, especially moms and kids, couldn't resist and joined the energetic front-row party. Nora's spontaneous "concert" ended with a standing ovation of sorts, with many thanking her and gifting her bracelets.
The night was best summed up in Nora's own words: "best night ever.”
