Flood entered a bus as it drove through a swamped road in Thailand, on October 16.

Passengers lifted their feet off the floor as the water gushed into the vehicle travelling along Samut Sakhon province 30 miles from the capital Bangkok on October 16.

Onlooker Onsre Kasinee said: 'It happened while the bus was travelling from Central Mahachai mall to the Honda Samut Sakhon showroom.'

Thailand and neighbouring countries in Southeast Asia are in their annual monsoon rainy season which sees soaring temperatures followed by powerful rain storms in the afternoon leading to widespread flash floods.

Bangkok and large parts of the north and northeast of the country have been swamped with flash floods from tropical thunderstorms.
