University students were detained during a pro-Palestine rally in Istanbul on October 18.

The students shouted slogans such as "From the river to the sea Palestine will be free" and "Murderer Israel, get out of Palestine".

The rally was in response to a deadly blast that hit the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza. Local authorities say an Israeli air strike was to blame - but Israel insists the blast was caused by a misfired rocket from Gaza

University students who wanted to protest on Istiklal Street, one of the busiest places in Istanbul, against Israel's attack on Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza were detained by the police.
