Thai cafe serves milk tea in giant glasses
A Thai cafe serves three-litres of milk tea in these giant glasses.
Footage shows the barista pouring the sweet drink over ice in their large containers at the Nuatair Noodle Shop in Trang province, Thailand, on September 30.
She then topped it with milk and had a colleague taste it, taking huge gulps from the glass that was bigger than his face.
They have the drink in different flavours, including the crowd-popular match with tapioca pearls and whipped cream on top.
Gimmicks involving unusually large servings have become more popular in Thailand. However, the Thai government is already taking steps to monitor and regulate the sugar content in food, including those served in restaurants.
In 2020, the Thai Ministry of Public Health launched a program called 'Healthy Menu' to encourage restaurants to offer healthier food options.
