Chicago's Field Museum hosted China Cultural Day on Tuesday.
In the Central Hall of the Field Museum in downtown Chicago, nearly 200 American students watched Chinese Kung Fu and dances, enjoyed Chinese songs and Chinese folk instruments performance, made mooncakes, and listened to the story of a U.S. Flying Tigers veteran.
Gail Cooper Baumgartner-Brown, daughter of Joseph Cooper, a Flying Tigers soldier who had served in China, told the students her father's story.

"This is something that I'm finding that the memory of the Flying Tigers is slowly fading, and it breaks my heart. So I'm very open, happy and anxious for any opportunity I have to share some of my father's history and the history of the Flying Tigers to keep their memory alive."
This is the third time for Chicago's Field Museum to host China Cultural Day.
