An influencer has revealed his most horrifying exploration to date: visiting the “most haunted doll in the world” – and now people believe he’s cursed.

Kalani Smith, a professional ghost hunter, regularly explores “haunted places” and shares his creepy experiences on TikTok (@kalanighosthunter ) with his 2.7 million followers.

The 25-year-old has previously spotted a “little girl” lurking in an abandoned house used to film a horror movie, as well as hearing “unexplained” voices while in a mansion built in 1872.

Now, he’s taken on his most horrifying challenge yet with fellow explorer, Exploring with Josh, with a ritual sacrifice to a well-known cursed doll, called Robert.

While the clip, posted on Instagram, has racked up 88,000 views and over 9,000 likes, many social media users are refusing to tune in, as it’s believed that even one look at the toy can unleash his curse.

“We got attacked after the blood ritual was performed and felt like we caught on fire,” Kalani told http://NeedToKnow.co.uk.

“It got insanely hot and then we both ended up throwing up.

“Josh was considering going to the hospital if his condition didn’t improve.

“He was laying [down] pouring water on himself and we had to eventually leave the property for 20 minutes, before returning to continue our investigation in his chamber.”

In the clip, the pair reveal the terrifying repercussions of being in contact with the doll after offering up their blood as a sacrifice.

Josh films himself struggling to breathe, before almost throwing up, as he speaks with a friend on the phone about their “demonic” experience with the doll.

The video cuts to another clip of him a week later, where he explains that Robert is believed to be “more haunted” than Annabelle.

He claims that over 10,000 letters have been written in the past to the museum which he is kept in, filled with apologies after dealing with his wrath.

Josh claims that since filming he suffered a continuous stream of bad luck, including a cancelled flight, lost baggage, and an inflamed, painful eye.

As a final note, he adds that he’s going to go under a cleanse and ends with apologising to Robert, as he “can’t take this anymore.”

Users flocked to the comments to share their reactions, with many people left upset and concerned about the “risky” ordeal.

“[...] You don’t have to gamble yourself just to make a good video. Next time be careful Pls,” one person said. [sic]

David added: “I do not claim any energy from this video.”

“Dude this is too much, think of your own safety [...]” another user added.

Someone else commented: “If THIS isn’t your Halloween special..what is?!?!” [sic]

“Please take care of yourself Josh and be careful. I feel really worried about you,” one user said.

It’s alleged that in 1904, a little boy called Gene Otto was given Robert the doll by his parents and became inseparable from the toy.

Soon, his parents started to hear voices and spotted the doll moving around the house on its own.

Since then, due to its well-known cursed nature, it’s become a popular figure in the paranormal world and has inspired the Chucky horror films.

Kalani, from Nashville, US, visited the doll at a museum in Key West, Florida, during a paid investigation tour around his chamber.

He claims the experience was “wild” and has expressed his deepest apologies to Robert in the hopes he’ll avoid any cursed luck.

The 25-year-old added: “The doll is rumoured to curse people that film or video him without permission – and we didn’t ask.

“We didn’t pick [him] up and he stayed in his case while we were outside of the room, but once we unveiled him, an electric and heavy feeling filled the air.

“We got some voices that came through on our voice recorder and equipment going off in the chamber.

“There was also something that came through the spirit box which said it wanted us to stay.”
