Climate activists dressed in blue doctors uniforms demand 'climate justice' outside the Energy Intelligence Forum, known as the Oscars of Oil, held at the InterContinental Hotel on Park Lane on Thursday, 19 October. They refer to skyrocketing energy bills and blame big oil for the loss and damages as they chant 'What do we want? - Climate Justice. When do we want it? - Now!' Protesters are holding banners saying: 'Fossil Fuels Kill', 'Your greed - our death' and 'Cause of death: fossil fuels finance'. Earlier in the week on Tuesday, 17 October climate activist from Sweden Greta Thunberg spoke at a climate protest outside the InterContinental hotel. She was charged with a public order offence alongside 26 climate activists and spent Tuesday evening at Wandworth Police Station, released at 2am on Wednesday morning with no permission to protest in Westminster.
