Arab League (AL) Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit and British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly discussed the developments in the Gaza Strip on Thursday in Cairo.
Aboul-Gheit stressed the need for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to pressure Israel to stop the attack that it is practicing against the innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The British foreign secretary stressed the necessity of working collectively in order to stop the ongoing conflict, especially since the continuation of violence will contribute to destabilizing regional security.
They agreed on the necessity of opening humanitarian corridors to bring aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip, as well as the importance of protecting them fully.
