Storm Babet caused gigantic waves that slammed the Scottish coasts of Aberdeenshire on Thursday, October 19.

The UK Met Office has issued a rare red warning for severe weather as Storm Babet sent high winds and torrential rain to eastern Scotland. Schools in parts of Scotland were closed and the entire town of Brechin in Angus was ordered to evacuate due to "danger to life".
