The third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation concluded on Wednesday in Beijing.

Since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was launched 10 years ago, China has signed more than 230 BRI cooperation agreements with more than 150 countries and 30 international organizations.

These agreements yielded a number of signature projects and many small-scale yet impactful projects, according to a white paper issued by the Chinese government.

Since its launch, the BRI has become the world's largest platform for international cooperation, and with the broadest coverage.

"I think much has been achieved by China and by BRI countries over the last 10 years. It gives us the confidence and the encouragement that we can do more together.
We are able to increase the size of the pie.
That's why Singapore has been an early and strong supporter of the BRI. Because the values that underpin the BRI, we also share those values as a small open trading nation.
We want to keep the original intent of the BRI to allow the world to grow and benefit and prosper together. In the end, it is true partnership, openness and collaboration that we can benefit all."

SOUNDBITE 5 (English): FRANK MUSEBA TAYALI, Minister of Transport and Logistics, Zambia
"I think that the future is ever brighter under the BRI with China leading the way. So we feel proud to be part of this initiative going forward."
