An out-of-control bus crashed into multiple vehicles, injuring 6 in northern China.

Dashcam video filmed in the city of Changchun in Jilin Province on October 19 shows a bus suddenly losing control, accelerating and smashing into multiple vehicles before careening into the oncoming traffic.

The out-of-control vehicle finally came to a halt only after slamming into the gates of a roadside building.

According to reports, a 30-year-old man named Qi was driving the large new energy passenger bus southwards along Jianshe Street. As he approached the intersection of Chongzhi Road, he suddenly fainted, leading the bus to lose control and veer into the opposing lane.

The disastrous spree resulted in six people sustaining minor injuries, while nine vehicles were damaged.

An on-site investigation by the Chaoyang District Traffic Police of the Changchun Public Security Bureau Traffic Police Detachment revealed that the bus driver had suffered a sudden illness.

The injured were promptly sent to the hospital. The incident has been classified as an unforeseen accident, and further follow-up actions are currently underway.
