Firefighters navigated floods to rush a pregnant woman in labour to hospital in southern China.

The video was filmed in the city of Maoming in Guangdong Province on October 20.

A pregnant woman about to give birth was left stranded due to severe flooding caused by Typhoon Sanba.

The special fire and rescue unit dispatched two fire trucks, a boat, and a ten-member tactical team to help transport the mother-to-be to hospital.

With waterlogged streets and severe traffic congestion due to the flooding, the dedicated team encountered moments when they couldn't move forward. Undeterred, in a heart-stopping twist, the firefighters used the boat to navigate through the waterlogged streets, successfully transferring the expecting mother to one of the fire rescue vehicles that had come to aid.

Thanks to the rapid and determined response of the rescue team, the woman was safely transported to the hospital.
