Hit-and-run driver injures woman and child in Ivanovo, Russia
In a disturbing incident on September 1, 2023, in Ivanovo, Russia, a driver behind the wheel of a VAZ 21013 struck a woman and a seven-year-old child while they were crossing a pedestrian crossing on General Khlebnikov Street. The driver callously fled the scene, leaving the mother and daughter injured and in need of hospitalization. Following the hit-and-run, local authorities discovered the driver's abandoned and burned vehicle. Investigators are actively pursuing this case and are expected to make a procedural decision shortly, with efforts underway to identify and locate the car's owner.
