A bull was rescued after it fell into an open well in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

This incident happened in Bicharpur village in Shahdol district on on October 21.

Visuals showed the rescue operation of the bull taking place. The bovine was stuck inside the well and could not move in the space which was a bit too small for its size. Rescuers arrived in the area and immediately began working towards bringing out the animal. One of them was seen getting down into the well with the help of a rope and tying one around the bull's body. He carefully went down the well and put the rope around the bovine and later, with the help of other rescuers and villagers, was able to pull it out of the well. The bull stayed still as the ropes were being untied when it was taken out. Later on, it was made to get back up on its two feet.

According to Gaurav Ralhi Mishra, Head of Atal Kamdhenu Gausewa Sansthan, this rescue operation was a tough one, given the fact that the bull had been partially unconscious due to lack of food. The ones who did the rescue were identified as Sarthak Mishra, Prakash Sen, Ashish Napit and Ravi Pratap Singh from the Atal Kamdhenu Gau Seva Sansthan. Also, the bull was treated after it was saved from inside the well.
