A man intentionally drove an SUV into a security guard following a heated argument over parking in northern China.

The shocking video was filmed in the city of Taiyuan in Shanxi Province on October 22.

The local police division received a call about an individual who drove his car into a person on purpose and swiftly responded to the emergency.

Officers arrived at the scene and immediately coordinated with medical services to rush the injured man, identified as Mr Xu, 25, a security guard of Haitang Square, to the hospital.

The prime suspect Mr Gao, 32, hailing from Lvliang, Shanxi, was apprehended and taken in for interrogation.

Preliminary investigations reveal that moments before the crime, Gao had parked his white SUV against the flow of traffic inside a one-way loop at Haitang Square. When security guard Xu approached and attempted to rectify the situation, Gao, trying to drive away, clipped him.

Instead of defusing the situation, a seething Gao drove into Xu, knocking him to the ground. After a brief pause, Gao drove over Xu once more, pinning him underneath the SUV, before crashing into another car.

Thankfully, Xu is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital and is not in a life-threatening condition.

Charged with the crime of causing a disturbance, Gao faces severe legal consequences and is currently under criminal detention. Authorities are continuing their investigations into the case.

经查，犯罪嫌疑人高某某在案发前驾驶一辆白色SUV轿车逆行停放于海唐广场内部单向循环道路，保安徐某上前制止，高某某欲驾车离开时剐蹭到徐某，二人发生争执，高某某驾车将徐某撞倒坐在地上，稍作停顿后，再次驾车将徐某撞倒在车下并与前方轿车相撞。
现徐某正在医院救治，暂无生命危险。犯罪嫌疑人高某某涉嫌寻衅滋事罪被依法刑事拘留，案件正在进一步侦查中。
