A woman was amused as a sausage machine unexpectedly "took a bite" before dispensing in northern China.

The funny video was filmed in Beijing on October 17.

The woman had reportedly forked out 9 yuan (£1) for the sausage, only to discover that she seemed to have gotten a deal that saw her receive a mere fraction of what she'd paid for.

Instead of the whole sausage she expected, a noticeable chunk was missing, as if the machine itself had decided to sample the goods before dispensing them.

In a humorous twist, the woman jested that she had paid 9 yuan only to eat a value of 4.
