Video from the Newsflare archive of an Australian dad who has come up with an innovative way to make mowing the lawn far more fun for his kids.

Jacob, who is a science teacher and has a successful YouTube channel called Make Science Fun, used some old snowboards to build a "grass toboggan" that he attached to the lawnmower with a rope, before dragging it around the garden, in video from January 2016.

The filmer later wrote online: "The kids had an awesome time towed behind the lawn mower.

"The video contains lots of GoPro footage of the children's facial reactions."

"There is also some drone footage of the activity," he continued.

To make mowing the lawns more exciting and fun, this dad from Australia made his children a grass toboggan.
Using two discarded snowboards and a snow mobile, the dad built a simple grass toboggan which he attached with a rope to his zero turn John Deere lawn mower.
The kids had an awesome time behind towed behind the lawn mower.
