A father used an ice lolly in his mouth to physically cool down his feverish daughter in China.

The heartwarming video was filmed in Fuyang City in Anhui Province on October 23.

A father took a bit of an ice lolly, held it in his mouth and then used his cool face to physically lower his daughter's temperature.

The concerned mother shared that their daughter's temperature hadn't reached 38.5°C, a point at which doctors would recommend medication.

Worried that a cooling patch might be too cold and would disturb their daughter causing her to cry, the father ingeniously decided to buy an ice lolly from a nearby store. By placing it in his mouth, he effectively cooled down his face which he then pressed against his daughter's skin to comfort her and help reduce her temperature.

It was revealed that this affectionate father usually spoils his daughter and tends to avoid cold food due to stomach issues. However, in this situation, he was willing to make an exception for the sake of his daughter's wellbeing.
