A black bear burglar was spotted running away with a bin bag full of soda cans.

Karlene Burch was working at Falls Golf Club in British Columbia, Canada, on September 28 when she spotted an animal thief running away from its crime scene.

Hilarious footage – which has been viewed 35,000 times – captured a bear effortlessly dragging a trash bag full of drinks cans clamped in its teeth.

Karlene said: “This black mama bear broke into our golf course storage shed to steal pop cans.

“We have spoken with conservation and have taken every precaution we can on our end but these guys are getting bold.

“We've done everything we can to lock up structures and food waste. Unfortunately there are five black bears that are becoming quite frequent visitors.

“We've had to lock everything away as much as possible. Unfortunately this bear is quite persistent.”
