A woman made a DIY Halloween tree lamp ornament using everyday household items.

Handicraft lover, Nong Fah, gathered old glass jars, a tissue paper roll, and some sticks from the garden and began assembling her cute and creative display pieces for the holiday in her home in Samut Prakan province, Thailand, on October 10.

Footage shows her wrapping the containers in the paper, putting googly eyes on them to make them look like zombies, and attaching white paper ghosts with a string on the twigs placed in the jars.

For dramatic effect, she installed lights inside the jars, which looked awesome at night like a lamp.

Nong Fah said: 'It's so easy to do, and the materials for the cute spooky Halloween trees are available at home.'

Halloween is a celebration observed in many countries on October 31, the eve of All Saints' Day, a Christian holiday in honour of all saints. It is believed to have originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.
