"Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Thursday morning that 'in preparation for the next stages of combat,' its tanks and infantry struck numerous Hamas targets, infrastructure, and anti-tank missile launch posts in northern Gaza. According to a statement released by the IDF, the soldiers have since exited the area and returned to Israeli territory."

"This morning, the Israeli army carried out a limited incursion into the northern and eastern regions of the Gaza Strip. A convoy of tanks and military equipment entered 'a limited distance' inside Gaza and carried out bombing operations and clashed with Palestinian militants, and the airstrikes are still going on until this moment.
A statement by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed forces of the Hamas movement, said that it targeted a helicopter that was firing in areas of Gaza. Until now, things are intensifying and expanding regarding military operations in Gaza."
The death toll of Palestinians from Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip has risen to 6,546, said the Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, 17,439 Palestinians were wounded in the coastal enclave, the ministry said in a statement.
