The owner, Irfan, 42, recounted his panic upon discovering the absence of the buffalo. "I realized my buffalo was missing, and after a frantic search, found it at the bottom of an old, unused well," he shared.

Undeterred, firefighters responded swiftly to Irfan’s call for help. The footage captured illustrates the intense effort, showing several brave souls, including the owner, descending into the well, devising a plan to hoist the distressed animal.

Despite their commendable determination and strategy, initial attempts proved unsuccessful. It was only with the aid of a crane that rescuers could triumph, bringing the buffalo back to the surface, unharmed and greeted by grateful, relieved onlookers.

A buffalo fell and became trapped in an old well in Indonesia. Firefighters were called in to help with the evacuation.

Several firefighters tried to pull the buffalo up, but were unsuccessful.

The attempt to remove the buffalo was only successful after a crane was used to pull it up.

Irfan (42), the buffalo's owner, said he realised his buffalo had fallen into the well when he couldn't find it when he took it back to the pen.

"I searched and found the buffalo at the bottom of an old well that was no longer in use. I then asked the firefighters for help," Irfan added.

The buffalo was successfully removed unharmed.
