Spooky scenes of clouds at night getting backlit green by northern lights in Iceland, in timelapse video.
Northern lights - the aurora borealis - are best seen in cloudless skies but if your local skies are very cloudy or overcast it may still be great to shoot timelapse video, as seen here.
this was the night of october 21-22, 2023 long after midnight, in northern Iceland at a guesthouse / farm north of Skagaströnd.

cameras Canon EOS R6 and R8
fisheye lenses 7artisans 10mm f/2.8 and TTartisan 7.5mm f/2.0

northern lights are usually very active in the equinox months of september, october and march, april ( but I prefer hunting northern lights in autumn over spring equinox as there is less snow, less closed roads, less travel risks from winter storms or seasonal health issues such as flu, covid, and several meteor showers as bonus ).
