This is the terrifying moment a car crash on a Los Angeles highway revealed itself to be no accident but a deliberate attack in order to launch a robbery on October 28.

"It seemed like a regular Tuesday (October 23) when I saw this black sedan fly past me but it wasn't a hit and run, it was much much worse," filmer @novacellz on Instagram tells Newsflare about the scary scene on the I-10 eastbound highway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Dodge Caravan deliberately crashed into a black Alfa Romeo sedan. A Ford Mustang was also hit

The Alfa Romeo was disabled after being struck the side of the freeway.

The footage shows four men wearing dark clothing and masks jump out of the Caravan and charge the sedan, grabbing items from inside.

“Initial reports had the suspects armed with a firearm; however, upon further investigation, it appears the suspects were armed with a hammer and crowbar,” according to highway officials.
