River Cuckmere bursts its banks in the village of Alfriston, East Sussex, UK

The River Cuckmere, or River Uck as it is sometimes called, burst its banks this morning 5 miles inland from the sea. The flood plain from the village to the sea is flooded and affecting travel along the roads to Lulington and through the village of Alfriston itself.
Heavy prolonged rain over night is set to continue over the weekend making more serious flooding likely in the area. At perwsewn no no has had to evacuate their homes. The Environment Agency Flood Warning alert has said flooding of properties is highly likely. 4K 10-bit drone footage along the flood plain and burst banks.
