Motorists luckily avoid injuries as huge rocks tumble down mountain in southern China
Motorists luckily avoided injuries as huge rocks tumbled down a mountain in southern China.
The dashcam video was filmed in the county of Wangcang in Sichuan Province on October 29. Massive rocks rolled perilously down the mountain, dangerously close to passing vehicles.
Eyewitness Zhao recounted the incident, sharing that the first car in the path of the falling rocks bore the brunt of the impact, suffering considerable damage. Thankfully, the occupants of the vehicle emerged unscathed.
The second boulder narrowly squeezed between Zhao’s car and another vehicle, causing only minor damage to her windshield. They moved their cars to a safer location and promptly called for road assistance.
The local government issued a response, reassuring the public that this incident had not resulted in any injuries. They reported that the scene had been effectively managed and secured.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
