A craft artist turned a piece of black paper into a DIY origami bat garland for Halloween.

Footage shows the sheet being folded into several pleats before being cut into the shape of the animal with wings spread open in Bangkok, Thailand.

She added white circles on each head for the eyes, and the garland could be hung on windows and walls.

Halloween is a celebration observed in many countries on October 31, the eve of All Saints' Day, a Christian holiday in honour of all saints. It is believed to have originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.
