Ground vehicle crashes into parked plane causing damage in southern China
A plane parked on a tarmac was damaged after a ground vehicle accidentally crashed into it in southern China.
The CCTV footage was filmed in Xiamen City in Fujian Province on October 26.
A ground vehicle accidentally scraped against a Xiamen Airlines flight B-1457 which was parked overnight on a tarmac at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, resulting in minor damage to the right engine's inlet cowl.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported during this incident.
Following prompt repairs, the affected plane was swiftly reintegrated into its regular operational schedule. Investigations into the root causes of this incident are currently underway.
