A trick-or-treater dressed up as a corpse in a coffin and paraded around his neighbourhood for Halloween.

Edwin Ocampo was the highlight of the party when he joined the party with his DIY casket and cosplaying a dead man in Manila, the Philippines, on October 29.

Footage shows Edwin standing inside the box he made with friends as it was being shown off on the streets on a three-wheeled motorcycle.

Edwin was assisted by three friends who wore matching ghost masks while an entourage of trick-or-treaters marched behind his vehicle.

Neighbour Chelsa Calesterio said: ‘Our homeowners association organised the event for the kids. They gave prizes and candies to those who joined.

'The highlight was supposed to be the coffin, but the motorcycle was stuck. He looked funny while smiling when he was supposed to be a corpse.'

Halloween is celebrated in many countries on October 31, the eve of All Saints' Day, a Christian holiday in honour of all saints. It is believed to have originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.
