Journalist Motaz Azaiza reported from the scene of a bombing in Nuseirat refugee camp on Tuesday 31 October that he blamed on the Israeli military.

Video showed people digging through the mound of rubble in the hope of finding people alive or dead.

He said the site was previously a wedding hall and that locals said around 20 Palestinian families were taking shelter there.

Neither claim has been independently verified and Israel's military claims it takes care to avoid unnecessary civilian casualties.

Despite this, several UN officials, countries and NGOs have called on Israel to halt its air offensive.
