Mike Masullo, the Republican candidate running for Evans Town Supervisor, is facing allegations after a confrontation with a police officer.
In an incident captured on a body camera, Masullo, a retired Evans Police lieutenant, was accused of making a threat to Officer Scott DeJohn.
The altercation, stemming from a prior encounter, was overheard in the footage. Despite being charged with Harassment in the Second Degree, the Evans Police decided not to file charges.
Masullo denied threatening DeJohn's job, attributing the tension to political differences within the department. His Democratic opponent, Ray Ashton, criticized the conduct, and the election is set for November 7.
