Claudia, Rita and Ana Maria Maradona, three of his sisters, remembered the star as a "sweet, loving and exceptional" person, on Monday the 63rd anniversary of his birth, which they celebrated at the Bar Lo del Diego, located in the tourist promenade Caminito, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of La Boca.

Summoned by the owners of the Maradona-themed place, where a third statue of the "Diez" was unveiled, the Maradona family experienced a day of "mixed feelings" for the third birthday since his death on November 25, 2020.

"On the one hand, I am sad not to have him here, but on the other hand, I am happy to see that he is still remembered with love. That undoubtedly is a source of pride for me and the whole family," said Claudia "Cali" Maradona, the youngest of the five wives and three sons that Dona Tota and Don Diego had.
