Thousands of revellers came out on Tuesday night to celebrate Halloween.

Rain started light turning heavy close to midnight but that didn’t dampen spirits.

Some used coats to shelter and others improvised with plastic bags on the infamous nightlife strip in Birmingham, England on 31 October.

Heidi’s Bier Bar was sold out with a one in, one out policy imposed as queues stretched down the street on one of their busiest nights of the year.

Despite the cold and wet weather, that didn’t prevent some amazing costumes including: a lad in an orange Just Stop Oil hoody, A woman dressed as the Mona Lisa painting, Fairy's, Inflatable Dinosaurs, plenty of prisoners, Sexy Police Officers and many many more.

Everyone was in a joyful mood with little trouble.
