Nine-foot-python saved from lethal entrapment in fishing net

9-foot Indian Rock Python has been rescued from Machhua village of Krushna Chandrapur under Baripada forest division of the Mayurbhanj district.

According to the report, villagers noticed that one big Python had been trapped inside a fence with a fishing net and fumbled released from net but the Python didn't Some of the villagers were trying to kill the scheduled one-category animal but some of them informed the forest department. After the information, the department sent one animal rescue team to the spot. The team rush to spot immediately. Some forest department officials watch the snake there. Team members took the fishing net with a scissors and one blade and rescued the snake.

After the departmental rescue, the snake was checked by the doctor and found nothing critical. After a doctor's check-up, the Indian Rock Python was released into its habitat
