Ahh, that's the spot! Baby elephant gets into awkward positions to enjoy full body scratch

Baby elephants are some of the most entertaining wildlife to watch while on safari in the African wild.

With their clumsy, playful, child-like behaviour, baby elephants never fail to amuse.

The filmer said: "We were out on safari while watching a herd of elephants cooling down in the mud during a hot day in the Kruger National Park. One little elephant was standing close to its mother, and it seemed interested in a fallen log lying in front of it. The baby elephant was eyeing the fallen tree stump for a short while, then started using it as a rubbing post. It was hilarious to see how this baby elephant worked out all kinds of awkward looking positions and ways to maximise the full potential of its newly found rubbing post."

The baby elephant surprisingly managed to get to most parts of its body for a good scratch -- a good way for it to get rid of the itchy insects and pests stuck on its skin after its mud bath.
