On September 14, 2023, in the Kirovsky district of Saratov, Russia, a bus driver struck a pedestrian who had crossed the road at a red traffic light. The incident occurred at 9:15 AM at the intersection of Moskovskaya and Chapaeva streets, involving a bus from route No. 284B (Saratov - Engels) and a pedestrian born in 2000. Preliminary investigations revealed that the pedestrian ran onto the roadway against a red signal at a pedestrian crossing, and the bus driver was unable to stop in time to avoid the collision. Following the incident, passengers were transferred to another bus, and the injured pedestrian was promptly attended to by paramedics.
