A large tubular object, still smouldering, crashed into farmlands in northern China.

The video was filmed in Linfen City in Shanxi Province on November 1.

Forest fire and rescue services were quickly on the scene to address the situation. Eyewitnesses report that the mysterious debris appears to be remnants of a rocket booster.

An official from the Zhongduo Township government has provided details on the occurrence. On the morning of November 1, multiple pieces of what are believed to be parts of a rocket booster fell to the township. A security cordon has been promptly set up around the crash site, and guards have been arranged to monitor the situation.

Fortunately, there have been no fires or injuries resulting from the incident.

The official stated that the local authorities had received advance notice of the potential for debris to fall in the area. As a precautionary measure, villagers were evacuated on the evening of October 31 and were only allowed to return home after the debris had fallen the following morning.

In related news, the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre had a triumph with the successful launch of the Tianhui-5 satellite into its planned orbit using the Long March 6A rocket at 6:50 am on November 1. The launch has been declared a complete success, with the satellite functioning correctly in its designated trajectory.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
