A man in Cape Coral, identified as Francisco in his 70s, narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation when the car he was working on fell and trapped him underneath. The incident occurred on a Monday while he was changing the transmission cable on his car. The ramps supporting the vehicle unexpectedly collapsed, causing it to crash down on him.

Cape Coral police officers arrived quickly and, along with Francisco's son-in-law, managed to lift the car, freeing him from beneath it. Francisco, who had successfully removed the old car part before the accident, was unconscious but had a pulse, offering hope.

Francisco was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries, including seven cracked ribs. Despite the injuries, he is alive, with doctors considering his survival a "miracle." His family remains hopeful for his recovery, with the incident highlighting the heroic efforts of the police officers and his son-in-law.
