Unathorized Free Palestine Protestors March through Southpark Mall in Charlotte NC, as a Team of Security Guards Escort Them Out of Mall.

An unauthorized and well-coordinated Free Palestine protest march went through Charlotte's most prestigious luxury shopping destination, Southpark Mall. There were about 35 protestors seen in the video walking three abreast chanting “Free, free Palestine” in a militant cadence so loud it echoed throughout the entire mall. This startled some shoppers and caused merchants like Tiffany’s to initiate their emergency lockdown process posting security guards at the front of the store and locking the doors to prevent entry. The protestors had a huge banner leading the march (approximate dimensions were 3 ft high x 25 ft long) that read “Stand for Palestine - Against Israeli Genocide”. About 8 Southpark security guards were seen throughout the protestor line and would blow their whittles loudly at times. The security guards shepherded the protesters toward a utility corridor near Nordstroms on the main floor.

This video IMG_6318.MOV is 1 of 2. It is 1 minute and 3 seconds long and follows the protestors as they march through the center of the mall in the section where all the high-end retailers are located (Louis Vuitton, Tiffany’s, Burberry, etc). The next video that will be posted separately is 23 seconds long and shows the protestors as they were escorted into the utility corridor that doubles as an emergency exit.
